Please note: All entry fees are shown in New Zealand dollars and taxes. Online entries close 5pm 20 October 2021. Late entries will be accepted at registration, unless sold out prior. Part of your entry fee goes towards a donation to the Rotorua Trails Trust for maintenance the of trails throughout the Whakarewarewa Forest. You have the ability to support the Rotorua Trails Trust by donating through our online registration system.

What if COVID-19 prevents the event going ahead as scheduled?
Where possible, the Emerson's Whaka100 will be rescheduled. If this happens all participants will have their entry moved to the new date of 29/30 January 2022. If the new event date is not suitable to the participant, an event credit will be provided which can be used at any event in the NDuro Event portfolio.
If you become sick with COVID like symptoms
If you exhibit COVID like symptoms in the period between 16-23 October 2021, please stay home. We will organise an entry transfer to another event within the next 11 months provided you have a medical certificate.
Regional COVID restrictions (NZ)
Any participant in a region that has been restricted from travelling to other parts of New Zealand at the exact time of the event will be able to organise an entry transfer to another event in the NDuro Events portfolio within the next 11 months. Participants affect must provide a utility bill header with their address on it, date within the month of October.
International Participants
All international participants that cannot attended the event due to the COVID19 boarder restrictions will have their entries rolled over to 2022 Whaka100 event at no additional charge.

Entry CHANGES
A participant who has entered the event can change their entry distance or category down a distance up until the 2 hours before the start of their event. The change must completed on the form below and a $10 processing fee per participant must be paid before the change can be made. If you wish to change UP to a great distance you will also be required to pay the difference in entry fee (if available). There are no partial refunds should you request to change to a lesser distance.
Refunds & withdrawals
If you cannot participate in the Whaka100 MTB event or any of the associated distance events, entry fee refunds can be requested up until 5pm, 31th of May 2021 to receive 50% of their entry fee, booking/card service fees are not refundable. All entry fees are non-refundable after 5pm, 31th of May 2021 and we cannot refund entry fees after this date. Requests for refunds must be notified to the organiser by filling out the form located below. It is the sole responsibility to the participant to ensure the Whaka100 office has received your communication. If you have not heard from us within 7 days of this request, please call us on (64) 07 213 1809. Please allow up to 7-14 days for your refund to be processed. The refund is automatically issued to the credit card originally used to pay for the registration. If this card has since been cancelled or has expired, please email us. Any additional purchases (including but not limited to) processing fees, Merchandise purchase, donations or any other fees paid at the time of entry are non-refundable at any time.

Defer Your Entry
Participants who have entered the Whaka100 can be deferred to the 2022 Whakla100 event. An admin free of $25 NZD is payable before the request is processed. Requests for deferral will be honoured up to 5pm on 3rd of September 2021. The deferral may only be used once. Participants who elect to defer their entry forfeit options for future deferral, transfers of the same entry or partial refund. Any additional purchases (including but not limited to) , merchandise purchase, donations or any other fees paid at the time of entry are not transferred through to 2022.

- The withdrawing athlete MUST fill out the form below.
- A transfer fee of $25.00 must be paid by the withdrawing athlete.
- Transfer can only be made to the same or lesser distance event.
How to transfer
- The athlete wishing to transfer their entry must fill out the transfer form below and included the name and contact email of the recipient of the entry.
- The original athlete MUST pay the $25.00 transfer fee on confirmation of the transfer email being received.
- We will then send the recipient of the transfer a special link to enter.
