Two events sold out at whaka 100!

​We’re thrilled to announce that our That's It 10km and Whaka Kids 5km events have sold out in the last week! These fun rides are always a highlight of the Whaka 100, offering a fantastic introduction to mountain biking for adults and young riders alike. Participants in these events will receive finishers medals, celebrating their achievements in a fun, no-pressure environment.

The Whaka Kids 5km is particularly special, as young riders have the unique opportunity to ride alongside elite international competitors from the Shimano 100km, including past participants like Ben Oliver and Sammie Maxwell. This event is not just about the race; it’s about inspiring the next generation of mountain bikers in an unforgettable way.

Our New Zealand Sotheby's International Realty 50km event is also filling up quickly and is expected to sell out soon. This distance is our biggest and most popular, offering a real challenge that packs in all the fun of the forest without the more gruelling climbs found in our longer distances. It's also eBike-ready, making it accessible for a wide range of riders.
