Please note that there will be an increase in event infrastructure, signage, and vehicle traffic throughout the forest, including our lead motorbike. PARKING
The Waipa Mountain Bike precinct will be particularly busy during the times listed below. However, we will keep the main carpark accessible for non-event traffic, allowing access to the forest, Secret Spot, MTB Rotorua, i-SITE, and the Trail Kitchen.
Peak times
Te Pūtake o Tawa (Tarawera Road): This area will be particularly busy during the times listed below, and parking may be limited during these periods. We recommend planning accordingly to avoid inconvenience.

Today, the UCI Cross Country Marathon MTB National Championship will be held as part of the Whaka 100km event, alongside the Miler 172km and 100km events. The 25km race will also start on the opposite side of the forest, together with the Miler riders. Please note that Miler riders will be on course from 4:30 am.
