* What is predictive live timing?
Our clever app works out riders pace during their event from the initial timing mats to provide an estimated location around the course. While it's not perfect, and won't let you know if your tracked riders have stopped or found some untapped energy, it will give you an idea of where they are. This helps in ensuring you can be in the right place around the course in time to see those you're supporting. Predictive live timing is only enabled for the 25km, 50km and 100km events. For the Whaka Miler, you can still track athletes times as they cross key locations in the app via the riders tab.
