It is important to us that you, as our customer, understand why we have a refund policy. When you register, your entry fee
kick-starts the journey toward your exceptional event experience immediately. Our transparent refund policy reflects our shared understanding of unexpected challenges. Thank you for being part of our community.
Please ensure that you fully read and understand the following policy regarding all refunds, transfers, and cancellations. This policy applies to registration and additional upgrades purchased.
Default - Standard Refund
Between 1 November 2023 and 5pm 30 June 2024, the Whaka100 offers a 21 day refund window from the date of entry. All participants eligible refunds will receive an 80% refund of their entry fee. Merchandise, entry add-ons, donations, ancillary costs, booking/card service fees are not refundable. From 1 July, entries fees are not refundable unless the participant added Enhanced Refund Protection to their entry.

Note: Change Of Distance
If a participant chooses to move up or down a distance you will need to pay the difference in entry fees & any additional fees, if applicable. There is no partial refund if you change to a lesser distance.
Opt in - Enhanced Refund Protection (Recommended)
We recommend that you consider adding the Refund Protection Program to your entry to protect your entry fee. By enrolling in the enhanced refund program, 100% of your entry fee, add-ons and entry booking fees will be refunded, if you are unable to attend due to the refundable reasons.
