Raising the bar: Holland Beckett LAW join forces with Whaka 100 as Community Partner

We’ve always said that the Whaka 100 has such a passionate community that it feels like we’re its guardians rather than owners. This shared passion for community is how we got talking to Holland Beckett Law, our newest partner for this October’s event.

Holland Beckett Law as Community Partner will supercharge the Whaka 100 volunteer programme, which sees over 200 individuals from across the country come and help put a smile on the faces of 3,000 athletes and their supporters. Many community groups use the opportunity to fundraise too.

Holland Beckett Law has a history of community work. Whether that’s using their expertise in pro-bono work, providing sponsorship, helping shape positive change as members of community leadership groups, or simply rolling up their sleeves and mucking in to do the mahi on their team’s dedicated community day.

They’re the smiling help at the start line, to the cheering marshals as you crest that big hill, and putting that medal over your head as you cross the finish line victorious”.

“We love our volunteers,” Farmer adds, “Regardless of experience, age, or amount of time donated - volunteers are rewarded for their hard work with exclusive goodies, prizes and more. We must be doing something right as they come back year on year, chasing that feel-good factor.”
